Destinations

Destinations are ways to reach a specific application, user, mailbox etc. Destinations can be selected in inbound routes and some applications. The following destinations are usually available:

Generally available destinations:

a channel as destination will simply ring the selected phone/client. No voicemail, forwarding or any other settings will apply. Regardless whether there the channel is assigned to a user or not.

  1. conference room

This will reach any of the internally configured conference rooms. See Applications -> Conferencing.

  1. group

This will reach any of the internally configured call groups. See Applications -> Groups.

  1. IVR

This will reach any of the internally configured call groups. See Applications -> IVRs.

  1. mailbox

This will reach any of the internally configured mailboxes. This is the same as dialing **[mailbox number]

  1. on-call mailbox (optional module)

If installed this will reach the selected on-call mailbox. See Applications -> On Call.

  1. queue

This will reach any of the internally configured queues. See Applications -> Queues.

  1. service IVR

This will reach the service IVR. See Service IVR.

  1. user

This will reach a configured user (needs to be present as user and have an associated mailbox).
