General

System Status

The system status shows general status information such as calls over time, top talkers and activity within the last 24 hours. Media Switches show the call processing servers and their status. This information is updated every minute. You can double click on a switch to garner more information about the switch and to control status and perform user exchanges when a switch is to replace another one.

Announcements

The announcements feature allows you to distribute an announcement to all system mailboxes. This feature needs to be enabled through your vendor. Please contact Taridium support for further details.

Transaction Log

The transaction log provides information about all user activity in Administrator, Enterprise, End User and ITSP interfaces. Click on the IP link to perform a WHOIS lookup on any public IP.

Interfaces

The interfaces menu controls which Interfaces should be active and accessible.

CDR Viewer

The CDR Viewer allows you to view all CDR records on the system. Click on the yellow detail arrow to show further information about a particular record. This includes Account Code on placed calls, User Field on received calls or both depending on the usage case. If enabled in the system configuration this will also show the IP address (Peer IP) that originated the call.

System Setup

The system setup provides access to various configuration elements:

Switches

The Switches section provides access to the switch editor. It allows the addition of new switches, editing and removal.

Feature Map

The feature map allows you to map features to individual star codes. Multiple assignments are possible. Some star codes cannot be used if they are already in use on the switches, or need to match the configuration. Examples include call parking prefix *7 and call parking transfer destination *700.

comms Modules

The comms Modules section allows you to add feature modules to comms. Please contact support@taridium.com for further details.

Reset Channel Data

This feature resets channel counters and registration information. Not to be used in a production environment.

Configuration Cleanup

This feature allows for cleanup of voicemail, enterprise and retail directories. Not to be used in a production environment.

Owner Information

This section allows you to set general system owner information. This will be used for billing and invoicing purposes.

Voice Prompts

Lists all system and enterprise voice prompts.

IPPS API

Controls API access for the IPPS API. See main article: IPPS API.

Permission Control

The permission control allows you to add/remove white and blacklisted networks. This will be used in conjunction with the IPS intrusion prevention and detection system. See main article: comms IPS.

System Maintenance

The system maintenance section allows you to control the CDR maintenance. CDR maintenance sets the automatic deletion, or expiry of CDR records. Regular maintenance applies to all record, zero length calls are calls that haven't incurred a billing duration. This includes unanswered (missed), failed and busy calls. Note that these settings will never affect already invoiced calls. CDR records are purged at 3AM every day.

DIDs

The DID section allows you to add or upload your DIDs. DIDs are stored as fully qualified numbers of the format 'country code + number'.

Overview

The overview page provides statistical information about your DID stock.

Stock

The stock page allows you to add, edit and remove your DIDs. You can add single DIDs, ranges of DIDs. Click on the User Link to gain direct access to assigned DIDs. Tollfree, Fax, Emergency and Listed tags can be used with 3rd party applications to classify numbers.

Upload Stock DIDs

This pages allows you to upload your DIDs as CSV files.

Settings

The settings page allows you to set a specific time until a released DID is returned to the available stock pool.

Synchronized DIDs

This page allows you to return your assigned DIDs to the stock if they have been removed from the stock. Do not use this function unless you need to return missing numbers to the stock.

Empty Stock

Removes all DIDs from the stock.

Plans

Plans in comms set general settings for accounts such as features, restrictions and billing. Comms has two types of plans: Enterprise Plans that apply to enterprises and Retail Plans that apply to retail users. Plans can be limited to resellers.

Enterprise Plans

Enterprise Plans control limits and features of enterprises. Use the copy plan button to copy an existing plan.

Retail Plans

Retail Plans control limits and features of retail users. Use the copy plan button to copy an existing plan.

Billing

If installed, the billing menu provides you access to the billing features.

Rates

Rates shows you the installed rate tables and allows you to edit rates directly. Click on a letter to display individual rates/destinations. If you have rates in secondary tables you can activate them with the activate rates button. This will swap the rates from the active to the selected secondary table and put the secondary rates in to the active table for use.
