Call conferencing allows you to manage your own personal conference room. This feature needs to be enabled by your system administrator.

Contents

My Room

My Room shows your own private conference room extension. This is usually your extension number with a prefix such as *8 or any other star code that might have been configured by your telephone system administrator. Click on the phone link to be placed directly into your conference room. Optionally your room can also be protected by a PIN.

Inviting Users

Users can invite other users via the interface by simply entering the number of the invitee. A call will be placed to the user and ask whether he or she wants to join by pressing one. Note that the invitee will not be asked for a PIN when invited directly from the user interface.

Public Rooms

The public room interaction shows all configured public conference rooms and status.

As with personal conference rooms, users can invite other users via the interface by clicking on the invite button and entering the number of the invitee. A call will be placed to the user and ask whether he or she wants to join by pressing one. Note that the invitee will not be asked for a PIN when invited directly from the user interface.

Some public rooms might have an admin/leader PIN defined and will only become active if the leader PIN is entered.

Settings

If your personal conference room has been enabled you can change your PIN and optionally select whether you want to be able to login to the conference room without being asked for a PIN. This only works if you call from your default extension.
