The Manual Editor let's you edit the ipbx configuration elements by hand. Some of the files are also modified via GUI changes in other interfaces. Changes made using the manual editor almost always require a configuration reload. Where available, you will see a checkbox at the bottom of the editor reload configuration upon update (changes will become effective immediately). Some changes such as to the Zaptel/DAHDI configuration also require a restart of the Asterisk process. To restart the Asterisk process (any active calls will be terminated immediately) click on Diagnostics → Status → Stop/Start.
See also Manual Dialplan Configuration for further details on how to use ipbx dialplan applications and how to extend features and call routing.
