== General == === System Status === The system status shows general status information such as calls over time, top talkers and activity within the last 24 hours. Media Switches show the call processing servers and their status. This information is updated every minute. You can double click on a switch to garner more information about the switch and to control status and perform user exchanges when a switch is to replace another one. === Announcements === The announcements feature allows you to distribute an announcement to all system mailboxes. This feature needs to be enabled through your vendor. Please contact Taridium support for further details. === Transaction Log === The transaction log provides information about all user activity in Administrator, Enterprise, End User and ITSP interfaces. Click on the IP link to perform a WHOIS lookup on any public IP. === Interfaces === The interfaces menu controls which Interfaces should be active and accessible. === CDR Viewer === The CDR Viewer allows you to view all CDR records on the system. Click on the yellow detail arrow to show further information about a particular record. This includes '''Account Code''' on placed calls, '''User Field''' on received calls or both depending on the usage case. If enabled in the system configuration this will also show the IP address ('''Peer IP''') that originated the call. It allows the addition of new switches, editing and removal. ==== Feature Map ==== The feature map allows you to map features to individual star codes. Multiple assignments are possible. Some star codes cannot be used if they are already in use on the switches, or need to match the configuration. Examples include call parking prefix *7 and call parking transfer destination *700. ==== comms Modules ==== The comms Modules section allows you to add feature modules to comms. This will be used in conjunction with the IPS intrusion prevention and detection system. See main article: [[comms IPS]]. ==== System Maintenance ==== The system maintenance section allows you to control the CDR maintenance. CDR maintenance sets the automatic deletion, or expiry of CDR records. Regular maintenance applies to all record, zero length calls are calls that haven't incurred a billing duration. This includes unanswered (missed), failed and busy calls. Note that these settings will never affect already invoiced calls. CDR records are purged at 3AM every day. == DIDs == The DID section allows you to add or upload your DIDs. DIDs are stored as fully qualified numbers of the format 'country code + number'. === Overview === The overview page provides statistical information about your DID stock. === Stock === The stock page allows you to add, edit and remove your DIDs. You can add single DIDs, ranges of DIDs. Click on the '''User''' Link to gain direct access to assigned DIDs. Tollfree, Fax, Emergency and Listed tags can be used with 3rd party applications to classify numbers. === Upload Stock DIDs === This pages allows you to upload your DIDs as CSV files. === Settings === The settings page allows you to set a specific time until a released DID is returned to the available stock pool. === Synchronized DIDs === This page allows you to return your assigned DIDs to the stock if they have been removed from the stock. Do not use this function unless you need to return missing numbers to the stock. === Empty Stock === Removes all DIDs from the stock. == Plans == Plans in comms set general settings for accounts such as features, restrictions and billing. Comms has two types of plans: Enterprise Plans that apply to enterprises and Retail Plans that apply to retail users. Plans can be limited to resellers. === Enterprise Plans === Enterprise Plans control limits and features of enterprises. Use the '''copy plan''' button to copy an existing plan. === Retail Plans === Retail Plans control limits and features of retail users. Use the '''copy plan''' button to copy an existing plan. == Billing == If installed, the billing menu provides you access to the billing features. === Rates === Rates shows you the installed rate tables and allows you to edit rates directly. Click on a letter to display individual rates/destinations. If you have rates in secondary tables you can activate them with the '''activate rates''' button. This will swap the rates from the active to the selected secondary table and put the secondary rates in to the active table for use. === Upload Rates === The upload rates dialog allows you to upload rates for the system. Take care to follow the exact upload CSV format specifications. If you are uploading existing rates (matched by the destination), the rate will be updated rather than duplicated. You can optionally specify a rate table ID. This is recommended on live systems to prevent updates to the default rate table. === Invoices === The invoices list will show the most recent invoices created by the system. You can simply use the search dialog to search for date, account (enterprise ID) or invoice ID. === Rated Calls === The rated calls overview gives you a list of rated calls that are searchable by rated/un-rated and call date. Errors display calls that have been sent off-net but haven't been rated by the system. Usually this happens due to a missing destination or catch all pattern in the rate table. == Enterprises == The Enterprise section of the menu will show all your Enterprise related menus. === Manage Enterprises === Your Enterprise list will show all existing enterprises (Virtual PBXs). The counts will display display three numbers: 1. number of extensions, 2. number of extensions that have at least a device configured (i.e. SIP channel), 3. number of extension groups. Click on the '''log''' link to show specific transactions. The '''Stats''' will display the maximum amount of concurrent calls processed for the particular enterprise. Clicking on the stats symbol will give you historical information about maximum values per month. === Create / Edit Enterprise === The bare minimum information required when creating an enterprise is the name and ID. Take care to set the ID to a meaningful and short value. This value will be used throughout the configuration and in particular when creating new SIP extensions. This value should ideally not be changed retroactively. It will only be editable be the '''admin''' super-user. Changes will require restart of all phones. == Resellers == The Resellers section shows all active resellers on the system. == Access Control == The Access Control section allows you to view and manage system access. The built-in admin super user cannot be removed. The following types of access can be granted: *; Reseller : Allows the user to access all enterprises assigned to the selected reseller. Admin class users can change the super user settings! == Devices == The Devices section will allow you to control how devices are added to the system (i.e. through the [[Comms_Enterprise_Panel|Enterprise Panel]]) and provide an inventory overview. === Manage Devices === Lists all devices by MAC address. It will show the associated account, if any and the template that was used. Click on '''view''' to show the actual provisioning configuration for the device. Do not use the delete function unless the device has been orphaned or needs to be removed for some other reason. Use the enterprise interface or ITSP interface instead. Use the '''upload device list''' button to upload preset MAC addresses for picking in the ITSP panel (retail users only). === SIP Templates === SIP templates are definitions for use with SIP devices. A SIP template is required for any SIP device that is created. When creating a SIP template an associated '''Device Template''' will be created. SIP templates can exist without a device template, but not vice-versa. A common case would be a SIP template for a softphone. === IAX Templates === These templates are deprecated and are only supported in legacy environments. === Device Templates ==== The Device Templates define how phone configuration/provisioning files are created. Click on the name to directly edit the template. Take note of the allowable variables ('''show variables''') that will be replaced upon use. The '''Class'' value will indicate some phone specific control options. This includes specific reboot commands and sidecar generator settings. When editing the template using the 'edit' button in the list, use the file destination to specify where the file will be written. An optional post generation command can be used for example for encryption etc. Both '''File Destination''' and '''Post Generation''' can contain the %%mac%% and %%MAC%% variables. === Maintenance === The maintenance section allows you to generate configuration files in batch for specific enterprise and specific templates. This is not necessary when simply updating an extension in the Enterprise Panel. Clicking on '''update''' in the extension editor will always re-generate the extension/phone with the selected template. == Logout == logs out from the interface.
